ABOUT NURSE AMANDA
I have been a registered nurse since 2011, married since 2012 and became a mom in 2013 and then had my second baby in 2018. My family and I have been living in Suffolk County, Long Island since 2021, but I grew up and lived in Queens, NY my entire life.
I have been piercing ears since June 2019. I fell in love with ear piercing the second I started doing it. I love being a part of infant’s first ear piercing, celebrating the milestone with family. I love toddlers being so excited to get some sparkles in their ears. I love piercing older kids who have waited until a milestone birthday to be gifted ear piercings. I love participating in a piercing party with a group of women getting together for some wine and appetizers. I fell in love with every part of this experience and look forward to every piercing appointment I book.
ABOUT MY PIERCINGS
The beautiful earrings that are offered with piercings are hypoallergenic and nickel free. My piercings are done with a specialized hand pressured device, which does not shoot the earring into the ear, like a spring-loaded piercing gun. Instead I have full control of the device and I am able to offer a gentle and accurate ear piercing similar to a needle piercing, but without the scary needle!
With every piercing, I assess the ears for any abnormalities, make sure there is no scar tissue from previous piercings and make sure I choose the best spot for your new piercing.
