Options for ear piercings, especially first ear piercings are slim. Mall piercers are inexperienced and they usually use piercing guns. Tattoo shops are scary for little kids especially since they use a needle. A tattoo shop is also not an ideal environment for first piercings, especially with an infant. Pediatricians rarely offer this service anymore in their offices.
